Το καλοκαίρι έχει μπει για τα καλά! Δεν περνά κανένα καλοκαίρι χωρίς barbeque, χωρίς κάποια γενέθλια, επέτειο, γάμο ή οποιδήποτε αφορμή για υπαίθριο πάρτυ! Να μερικές έξυπνες, εύκολες ιδέες για να κάνετε τις διακοσμήσεις του πάρτυ σας μοναδικές και να χαρίσετε τη δική σας πινελιά στην ατμόσφαιρα.

Summer is in full swing! No summer goes by without a barbeque, birthday, anniversary, wedding or an excuse to have an outdoor party! Here are some neat, easy ideas to make your party decorations unique and give the atmosphere your own special touch.

Συμβουλή: Κάντε μια ή δύο δοκιμές πρώτα και μετά προχωρήστε στο τελικό! Θέλει λίγη υπομονή να δώσετε όγκο στο χαρτί στην αρχή (το έσχιζα συνέχεια στην πρώτη μου προσπάθεια) αλλά δεν παίρνει πολύ χρόνο να το μάθετε κι αξίζει τον κόπο!

Tip: Make one or two practice ones first and then go for it! It does take a little bit of patience to fluff out the tissue paper at first (I kept tearing it on my first go) but it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it and it is well worth it!

Αυτή είναι μια διακόσμηση που έφτιαξα για το baby shower μιας φίλης μου. Τα κεντρικά χρώματα του πάρτυ ήταν μπλε, πράσινο και κίτρινο. Έβαλα ένα μεγάλο πον πον και μερικά πιο μικρά μέσα σε ένα διάφανο μπολ. Στο βάθος του μπολ τοποθέτησα χριστουγεννιάτικα φωτάκια LED με τροφοδότηση μπαταρίας. Έδεσα και μια χονδρή κορδέλα με φιόγκο γύρω από το κάτω μέρος του μπολ και voilà!

This is a centrepiece I put together for a friend’s baby shower. The theme was blue, green and yellow. I put one large pom pom with several smaller ones in a transparent bowl. I placed LED battery-powered fairy lights in the bottom of the bowl. I also tied a thick ribbon and bow around the bottom of the bowl and voilà!

Εντυπωσιακός φωτισμός/ Dramatic lighting

Κρεμάστε σιφόν, οργάντζα ή μια κουρτίνα στα δέντρα ή στην πέργολα σας. Τοποθετήστε χριστουγεννιάτικα φωτάκια πίσω από το ύφασμα.

Drape chiffon, organza or a curtain across some trees or an arbour. Place fairy lights behind the fabric.
